{N} kids

Seriously these are my favorite kids to photograph.  They have literally grown up in front of my camera.  Our cross country move made it possible to visit them, and a visit isn't complete without token photographs!! 

 

Jumping pics are so fun, especially my kiddos added in!!

 

 

{Z} family plus Grandma and Grandpa

Moving back to Montana had its ups and downs, but reuniting with longtime family friends was definitely and up!  I have known this family since I was a little girl...fast forward 20 years and their little girl became our babysitter for a time and fast forward another 8 years and that babysitter is married and has her own little girl (that makes me feel a bit old).  This little sweetie loved to show off her teeth, and is completely adored by her Grandma and Grandpa!!!

{S} Family

LOVE LOVE LOVE this family.  Their boys are super fun, and their little princess is a doll!  Loved being out in Big Sky Country with them capturing a few smiles (and tears)!

Baby {T} Valentine's Baby...

LOVED this little Valentine baby...He was sweet, squishy, and sleepy - the three things that make an almost perfect newborn session!!

Where has the time gone.... {N} kids...

These kiddos are just about as close to being family as you can get!  Our families have known each other for almost 10 years, and I have been taking pictures of them for 5!  In fact...here is one of the first pictures I took of them back in 2009!

Being in the Air Force has brought many blessings into our lives...this family is one of them!!!  Love you guys!!! 

Retirement...

I had the honor of taking pictures for a friend's retirement today.  I have a deep respect for the men and women who defend our country.  Being an Air Force spouse myself, I am also very aware of the sacrifices their families make along the way!  Thank you for your service!!!

Baby {S} -

What an amazing morning I had with this little sweetie.  She's one month old, but still as tiny and sleepy as a newborn.  Newborn/baby photography is difficult.  I am practicing, watching videos, and looking for any opportunity to refine my skills and practice.  Thanks kiddo for spending your morning with me....I enjoyed having coffee with your Mom too!!!

I had such a great time getting a few shots of this new little one! What a SWEETIE!!! He was a bit against falling asleep for pictures; but all the better for snuggly, sweet Mommy and Daddy poses...and let's not forget Charlie Brown (the puppy)!!

The Keys to My Heart...

No doubt about it - these guys hold the key to my heart!!! 

{A Family}

10 years ago we were stationed here together.  We had our first son a week before they had their second.  Both of our families have moved around since then, our paths have crossed here and there, our boys have grown up, and we find ourselves right back to where it all started.  Thanks for spending the evening in front of my camera...you have a great family. 

 

 

{C Family} Photo swap...

Despite that fact that we have been stationed in at least one of the same places (never at the same time), and have many mutual friends, we didn't meet until about a year ago.  She and I talk pictures/cameras...talk boys...talk church...and talk military life; and the few times our families have been together we have a great time.  Tonight wasn't any different!  She and I decided a few weeks ago that we should just "swap" family pictures - so that's what we did!  There weren't any extras...just the basic family photos...but they turned out great!!  Thanks guys for your friendship, for you faithfulness through hard times, and for some great family pictures!!

This photo session didn't go quite as planned...the cold temps set in and we only managed to squeeze in about 10 minutes of photos.  These two boys are so cute, but neither of them enjoyed the chilly wind.  I look forward to hopefully photographing them again when the weather warms up, which around here could mean in May!! 

{D & T} Family

I have had the pleasure of getting to know this family through our base homeschool group.  I love watching these little kids play and have fun during P.E., and at gymnastics.  The girls are full of smiles and this little guy is cute, smiley, and an avid Tigers fan (much to his dad's chagrin).  Thanks for braving the chilly air, and the soggy conditions for pictures!  Enjoy your sneak peek!!

There is a Senior in the House... {EH}

 

I had so much fun taking pictures of this young man.  He was kind, polite, and even played a little guitar for his mom and I.  It's not very often that you meet a teenage boy who is motivated, well rounded, a hard worker, and has big plans for the future!  Best wishes to you in all of your future endeavors.  Enjoy your Senior year and all of the memories you make!!
