{D & K} Wedding ~ Sneak Peek

I have been a bit nervous about treading in the waters of wedding photography...this was a great way to get my toes wet. Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day - it was a very fun, sweet, and beautiful ceremony!!

{S} Kids...downtown

This was my first downtown photo session, as well as my first "teen" photo session. These guys were great to work with...and no bribery was needed to force cooperation! {M} Boys - - friendships!!

I had so much fun today taking pictures of these two boys. These boys mean so much not only to me, but to my own kiddos! When we moved here...the sad goodbyes had been said...but there was the hope of friendship. I am so thankful that these boys were here to fill in the gap that saying those goodbyes had left. Thanks so much you two for doing such a great job today!

{K} Family...At the Homestead

There are many times I have been really honored to take pictures of someone. This time I had the honor of photographing not only a great family, but at an amazing venue...an old homestead on an original Wyoming ranch. I had to do a little research today (Only because in the hustle and bustle I forgot most of the details) about this ranch. Here is what I found in an online article. "In 1889, the Kirkbrides were given 160 acres by the government when the family moved west." "They came in a wagon, across the country from the East, with a rocking chair in the back of the wagon and $5 to their name." "It has been in the family ever since and has grown into a significantly sized ranch. A few abandoned buildings still stand like withered skeletons on the property - the houses of homesteaders, long gone now." What isn't gone is the legacy that lives on...in this families life!! It was a true Wyoming photography experience...wind, prarie, and a windmill. The only thing thankfully missing was the freezing cold temperatures!! Thanks guys for a great time!!

{N} Family....3rd time's the charm!

These poor kiddos have literally grown up with my photography. They were my first experiments with my new camera and every time we had a chance to visit them, they were forced to participate in a photo session. You can check out the last couple of posts about them here and here I would like to think my skills have improved a bit in the past 4 years...I know their patience has! Thanks so much again for the opportunity to photograph your family! You have become such a sweet part of our lives!

Extended Family {C Family}

Justin and I met this wonderful couple on our very first Air Force move. Now, 10 years later I have the honor of taking photos for them and their extended family. They are a true example of faithfulness to the Lord - this faithfulness being evident in their children's lives, and in the lives of their grandchildren! Group photography has challenges of it's own; and this is the largest group I have had the chance to photograph. I certainly have much more to learn, so thank you C family for allowing me this opportunity! On a side note, a very Happy Birthday to Mrs. C. You are an amazing woman - and a blessing to so many around you!!

Friendships {A.M. Newborn}

Making amazing friends, is definitely a "pro" to the Air Force life.  One of these "amazing"  friends and her husband happened through our area a while ago.   I had a few minutes to take some pictures this little guy!  Thanks for the visit A.M.  Your friendship means so much!!

Family {Sister}

It is always such a blessing to have people in our home...even more of a blessing when it's your sister and her family. It's been a year since I have seen my sweet neices and handsome little nephew - they have changed so much... Thanks for a great visit!! Love you!!
